This site is a repository of information gathered with a unique objective in mind: Support the effort to convince policy makers to adopt an alternative progress measurement indicator from the gross domestic product (GDP).

A number of alternative indicators exist, which are not perfect, but which would do a better job at measuring “growth” of the human condition and the human environment. Progress should be measured through sound means, not an indicator which its own creator considered limited.
